Fed: Hicks set to marry girlfriend: report

DAVID HICKS is reportedly set to marry his girlfriend .. University of Sydney student
ALOYSIA BROOKS.

Ms BROOKS .. who is in Adelaide to spend Christmas with the former Guantanamo detainee's
family .. has been wearing what looks like an engagement ring.

News Limited reports the Sydney-based couple have spoken about marriage to a pastor
.. who has told The Australian Mr HICKS has been waiting for court-imposed restrictions
to be lifted so he could honeymoon without being watched by security agents or police.

Wayside Chapel pastor GRAHAM LONG says he's spoken to Mr HICKS about marriage but not
about any specific date.

Mr HICKS' father .. TERRY .. says he isn't aware his son is considering getting married
.. but the couple may be planning to surprise him for Christmas.
