Vic: Two fires in a week at Sydenham Primary School

Fire has again damaged a primary school in Melbourne's outer north-west in the secondsuspicious blaze at the school in the past week.

Fire crews were called to the Sydenham Primary School to find its front door was onfire about 1.40am (AEDT).

The deliberately-lit fire was quickly brought under control before it could spreadto adjoining classrooms.

Police say it's believed a rubbish bin was placed against the door and set alight.

Another suspicious fire caused damage to a toilet block at the school last Thursday.
